Love is art

I work a lot with couples or individuals who want to connect deeper to their true essence and desires.
Listening to what truly makes us happy.

It starts with getting to know your own desires & longings, and then daring to share them with others.
Real connection arises where we dare to show ourselves to each other, in vulnerability.
Taking the risk, being open and honest, first of course with yourself.
Taking the risk to let others know what’s important to you, what makes you happy, what makes you feel insecure, what scares you.
There’s no guarantee that the other person will react the way you might hope.
The only guarantee is that you will get closer to yourself.
And the closer you get to yourself, the more space there is to truly live what makes you happy.
This applies not only in our intimate relationships, but also in other relationships, with family, at work— your entire outer world mirrors how you show up for yourself.

Every relationship is about a balance between giving and receiving, leading and following, rest and action, and so on.
But it starts with the connection to yourself and your own body.
How connected are you to the sensations of your own body? How well do you know your own desires? What do you want to receive? What can you give?

Connected to your body and soul, you can learn to feel what truly feels good to you, where you feel resistance, where emotions arise.
And when you allow yourself to feel all of this, rather than avoiding it, the most beautiful gifts come — deeper connection, bodies opening up, sensations we might have never allowed ourselves to feel before.

All of this is art! Love is art!
Whether it’s tantric touch or massage, a shibari session, an emotional release, or a good conversation.
It requires showing up for yourself, daring to show up.
This may feel scary at first, but in the end incredibly liberating.
